Home security is extremely important. However, many of us realize this only after we've been burglarized. We tend to believe those bad things we hear about on the news can't happen to us. I used to think the same, until the day I came home to an empty house. You can't imagine my panic at the thought the intruders were able to take all smaller pieces of furniture, the TV set, the microwave and even the rice cooker, among other things.
I wonder why nobody in the neighborhood saw nothing. Nonetheless, I can't complain too much, as my closest neighbors are several miles away. Besides, my house had absolutely no home security Austin system in place.
Now I believe in thieves so strongly, that I've signed an agreement with a home security company to monitor my house 24/7. I asked them to install motion detectors and video cameras pretty much everywhere. I had to pay a small fortune, but this is nothing compared to the loss I felt when I saw my house after the burglary. At least now I can return home knowing that I'm going to find it just the way I left it in the morning. You can't imagine how reassuring this can be!
